We had the privilege of attending the #NordicDayMalaysia2025 , which brought together sustainability leaders, innovators, and policymakers from Malaysia and the Nordic countries in a shared commitment toward a more resilient and sustainable planet.
Themed “Malaysia & the Nordics: Partnering for a Greener Future”, the event provided a timely platform to exchange ideas, showcase solutions, and deepen international collaboration in advancing the green transition.
🔑 Key Highlights from the Seminar:
• Innovation at the Core: Nordic and Malaysian companies presented leading-edge technologies in clean energy, electrification and digital solutions, proving that climate innovation is accelerating globally.
• Strengthening Global Partnerships: Cross-border collaboration is no longer optional, it is essential. Both regions reaffirmed their commitment to shared climate action.
• Biodiversity Matters: Malaysia’s status as a megadiverse nation underscores its global role in forest conservation and sustainable natural resource management.
• Circular Economy Potential: From waste-to-resource systems to digitalized material flows, circular economy models offer a major area for cooperation.
• Public-Private Synergy: Green transition requires both bold government policy and private sector leadership because stronger partnerships are key.
• Mutual Learning: What stood out most was the spirit of mutual respect and openness to learning, which reminding us that sustainability is a shared journey.
We were also honored to hear from YB Nik Nazmi, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, who delivered the keynote address highlighting Malaysia’s commitment to green growth and climate resilience.
